I ripped one of my airbag wires for my back seat, would the airbags deploy if I splice the wires back together and will the codes go away if I cleared them with a code reader?

Start by disconnecting the battery. Once that’s done, you can either solder or splice the wires back together. For Toyota, Ford, and GM vehicles, a code reader shouldn’t be necessary to clear the error code—it will clear automatically after the issue is resolved.
