My Dodge is receiving a code B2208 after SRS module reset.

Code B2208 indicates a module internal failure (hard code). While some of these codes can be cleared, they often reappear.

1. Use your scan tool to erase all SRS codes. Cycle the ignition 3-4 times, start the vehicle, and let it run for about a minute. Turn it off for 30 seconds and repeat this process a few times.
2. If the airbag light remains off, the issue is resolved.
3. If the airbag light comes back on with the same code, the module will need to be replaced. Consider replacing it with a new or refurbished airbag control module.
